After an intense development over the past two years we introduce…   Zephyr: The new wind that blows across the 5 continents At Windtech we have a great reputation for our intermediate wings therefore we have done the greatest conceivable effort in designing our new flagship vessel. After an intense development over the past two years we introduce now our new intermediate DHV 1-2 to replace the Kali. This is a fully new wing exploring new ways in the design of DHV 1-2 gliders, which are the most popular and successful class in the sport of paragliding. The Zephyr is really fast: 2 km faster at trim speed and 4 km faster at full speed. It is much lighter (5.9Kg for the size 26 instead of 7Kg for the Kali). Line consumption has been reduced by more of 70m and it comes with 3 risers. Top lines are unsheathed Liros UV coated and it has a high vault making possible a higher A/R and a new level of safety. The Zephyr is a giant step forward in performance, stability and comfort in flight. The wing design excels, it is the nicest we have ever done: complex, sexy and unique to stand out over the others. The Zephyr is certified DHV 1-2 and EN B and exists in 3 sizes plus a Lite version for pilots looking for the lightest intermediate in the market.
