Edison Alvares becomes the Colombian Champion 2008 with his PEAK 25!

The “Campeonato Nacional de Parapente 2008 Roldadillo – Colombia” took place from the 12th until the 19th of January. 68 pilots fought for the title of Champion of Colombia. For this edition, Niviuk was strongly present: 3 Icepeak XP, 1 Peak, 1 Artik and 1 Hook.

From 5 heats that took place, four were won by NIVIUK pilots, in this way 4000 out of 5000 points were remained with Niviuk.

Within the 10 first places, three places are taken by NIVIUK pilots:

1º Edinson Alvarez
4º Yemerson Agudelo
8º Daniel Vallejo

Against all predictions, it was not an Icepeak XP that won, but the young Edinson Alvarez Suárez with his PEAK 25, not only he beat his elder brand brothers (his brother Humberto Alvarez Suárez, 17º, flies with an Icepeak XP) but all his rivals, showing them clearly his excellent pilot skills and the outstanding achievement of the PEAK of NIVIUK GLIDERS!!

Well done to all the NIVIUK pilots and especially to Manuel Eduardo Mejia with his HOOK who won in the junior category, ending before more performing paragliders.

This was the perfect start for the NIVIUK pilots in Colombia, NIVIUK that fulfilled most of there ambitions thanks to the new paragliders and above all, took the 2°, 3° and 4° in the overall Colombian ranking.
